Vehicle Description 1959 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible Car History We have a very rare 1959 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible here at Adventure Classics that was an instant classic even back in 1959.
Production was only a few thousand with very few left in existence.
This piece of Ford history could be taken to car shows or even cruised regularly as it mixes V8 performance, luxury and comfort features, with the white convertible top too.
Engine & Drivetrain Under the hood you will find the factory rebuilt strong-running 352 cubic inch V8 FE motor and automatic transmission, which was the biggest and most powerful engine choice in 1959.
It runs beautifully and gives the big convertible easy cruising power to glide down the highway.
It wears the factory correct original blue air cleaner, blue valve covers, reworked radiator up front, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, dual exhaust, newer distributor, blue painted block, heads, and intake, and everything else in the factory looking stock engine compartment looks as it should.
It rides on four gorgeous whitewall tires that have been fitted to the original wheels with factory wheel covers, and even when tucked under the chrome fender skirts and they look amazing.
