It has a small block 350 cubic inch ChevroletV8 engine with added performance from the high-performance carb and intake, performance exhaust, modified distributor and ignition system with performance spark plug wires, chrome valve covers and the open element air cleaner, rack and pinon steering and front disc brakes, and shifted by a R350 3-speed automatic transmission and modified Fat Man front end.
The engine sits in a very neat, painted, and detailed engine compartment with its smooth looking firewall behind it.
