Job Summary
Primary duties include hands-on support of all Information Systems activities including data center operations, technical support, application software, network security, and administration. Particular emphasis on user support in a predominantly Windows Active Directory environment. Duties will emphasize hardware and software systems in support of long range plans in a timely and cost effective manner with minimal impact on business operations. The Systems Administrator will partner closely with the Network Administrator, with a considerable overlap of responsibilities.
Essential Functions
Systems Administration - Implementation, configuration, administration, and support of Local Area Network hardware and software. Includes maintenance of user and group profiles.
Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory Terminal Servers Microsoft Exchange (email) Windows based workstations (user PCs and Laptops) Backup and Recovery, Disaster Preparedness Database Administration - Configuration, administration, and support of users in business systems. Systems in service include the IFS ERP system and the Exacta WMS system. Phone system administration Configuration of handsets and software based phones Basic troubleshooting of communication circuits
Asset tracking and auditing Software upgrades, bug fixes, functionality enhancements Licensing compliance Tracking of License Maintenance, Software Assurance, and other related contracts Hardware Inventory management
User Support and Training Determine user requirements, project scope, effort required, hardware needed, and procedures to meet user requirements Answer questions and resolve problems pertaining to the computer systems Act as a Help Desk and as a liaison to direct technical support issues to the respective hardware or software vendors. Work in groups or one-on-one on user training. Help the user to make the most efficient use of the resources at their disposal.
Operations Nightly backups Performance and Monitoring Tracking of system resources (such as disk space) Respond to system alert messages and keep automated processes moving smoothly and efficiently
Any other functions needed to run the IT department, or as assigned.
Qualifications
Must have strong technical proficiency relating to a Windows environment (server and Workstation), Active Directory, and a working knowledge of networking.
Experience should include local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and virtual networks (VLAN). Strong working knowledge of relational database systems. Preferred experience will include Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL. Strong working knowledge of integrated ERP/MRP systems. Working knowledge of IFS is desirable. General knowledge of business functions, such as accounting, inventory, and sales. Advanced Microsoft certification (such as MCSA or MCSE) is desirable.
Working Conditions:
Work Hours: 8 hours per day - Monday through Friday with some flexibility of scheduling. Core hours of coverage are 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM Occasional late evenings and weekends.
Travel Required: Very limited, as needed for training, seminars, or branch office support.
Working Environment: Normal office environment; occasional printer and machinery noise.
Physical Requirements: Occasional lifting or moving of equipment weighing less than 45 pounds. Occasional climbing of ladders or crawling on floors as associated with system cabling.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
