Job Description: Reports to the Vice President of Operations. In coordination with administrative and facility staff, volunteers and volunteer coordinator, this position is responsible for maintaining the upkeep of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food storage, preparation and serving.
Responsible for purchasing, prepping and planning, communicating and meeting with clergy, programming director and congregants about menu selection, room set-up, and cooking. Ensure equipment is maintained, cleaned and functioning and communicate issues to Facilities Manager and VP.
Monitors budgets and payroll records, and reviews financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted. Maintain food and equipment inventories, and keep inventory records.
Schedules staff hours, assigns duties, and coordinates volunteers with volunteer coordinator. Establishes standards for personnel performance and customer service.
Manages record keeping per Standard Operating Procedures and prepares and reviews operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Performs or assists with cleaning duties including servicing and cleaning kitchen, pantries, floors and dining hall. Gathers and empties trash. Provides oversight for outside caterings and ensures all items appropriately inventoried.
Attends staff meetings and maintains communications with staff and volunteers, coordinating kitchen usage across departments. Oversees, plans, and prepares kitchen employees' work schedules.
Possesses knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Work Environment: Local shopping/errands. Will be lifting, stooping, climbing ladders, and using chemicals and equipment.
Hours: Monday-Sunday. 20 hrs/wk. 1st or 2nd shift.
Pay: $10.00 per hour.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
