Job Description: Support the Office Manager, Religious School Director, and other staff and volunteers as needed. Expected start date TBD. Position will also support the Religious School Director, and other staff as needed. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure will be utilized. Will complete tasks and follow through.
Responsibilities:
Manage membership database, including confidential information.
Assist with correspondence to congregants and outside parties.
Perform administrative tasks including but not limited to answering phones, filing/copying, maintaining synagogue calendar (Religious School, life-cycle events, programs, standing committee meetings, appointments, etc.), and producing mailings (event promotion, dues notices).
Publicize various events through local media and internet (send press releases, ads and calendar listings, etc.).
Assist staff and volunteers with occasional special projects.
Interface with potential members, give tours of synagogue, and introduce staff.
Purchasing/Inventory management.
Manage on-line required records relating to student immunizations, attendance, and files.
Maintain staff security clearances, create new hire staff folders and manage appropriate documents; track vacation and sick time.
Work Environment: Inside office work, filing, phones, computer.
Hours: Monday-Sunday. 10 hrs/wk. 1st or 2nd shift.
Pay: $10.00 per hour.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
