Must have the following in order to apply: High School Diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
One (1) year experience required.
Must have a valid Florida Driver's License (Employer will check driving history).
Preferred Skills: 1-2 years previous experience in commercial or residential landscape environment preferred.
Required Screenings: Criminal background checks (Local & National) as far back as 3 years, SS#, DMV, Pre-employment drug screen, Random drug screening. Drug free workplace.
Job Description:Cutting, trimming and mowing grass.
Trimming and edging all work areas.
Blowing off all clippings from sidewalk parking areas etc.
Weeding areas and cleaning up leaves.
Flagging duties as needed for safety.
Sod installation or planting duties as needed.
Landscape projects such as shrubbery removal, thinning out or removing planting behind or beside buildings.
Walking and checking area first and remove anything that presents a safety or destruction hazard.
Performing operator maintenance on equipment.
Cleaning and maintaining all equipment.
Evaluating equipment problems and ensuring it is repaired by appropriate mechanics.
Will adhere to all safety procedures and using the proper personal protection equipment.
Performing various landscaping tasks as directed by Supervisor when not mowing.
Attending safety meetings.
Aiding with other positions in the department and the enlisting cross training as needed.
Ability to work outside with all types of weather.
Performing other tasks as needed when requested by superintendents or managers.
Work Environment & Dress Code: Outdoors. Dress code to be discussed with applicant.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. 40 hours per week.
Pay: $8.43 per hour.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
