POSITION SUMMARY: This person will be a key member of the PODS marketing team, helping PODS to stay at the leading edge of digital, direct, broadcast, and partnership marketing. You'll apply your two or more years of demand planner, statistical, marketing mix modeling, or volume forecasting experience, to a high-volume consumer
services
business to help measure and improve our sales funnel and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to hit the ground running with excel-based time-series forecasting, and demonstrate that they exemplify a positive, teamwork-based attitude. You must be able to manage large sets of data in excel, and use regression, correlation, and pivot tables on Day 1 to create forward-looking models. IT systems or project financial analysis experience is not enough for this role. You don't need to be a marketing expert, but must have a strong interest and ability to learn and grow into new skills and responsibilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
o Forecast phone call volumes and website traffic using historical data, planned advertising investment, and economic and competitive trend assumptions. Develop and apply regression and other statistical models to improve forecast accuracy.
o Assemble and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for demand generation activities and results. Work closely with Revenue Management, Call Center, and Finance functions to develop and align reporting and forecasts.
o Perform Ad-hoc analysis as needed. Example may include measuring results of control group testing for digital ad campaigns, evaluating time-series data for the impact of weather
events
, or working with vendors on media mix modeling to measure how TV advertising and direct mail interact.
o Improve PODS ability to measure and improve marketing efforts and customer satisfaction through the creation of new metrics and reporting. Develop or maintain metric definition, testing, and version control for all marketing-owned reports in ERP and other reporting systems.
o Regularly review competitor, economic, and industry data and assemble quarterly reporting.
o Support marketing elements of PODS ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence, or Marketing Automation as needed by the business.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
o Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Economics, Operations or Finance required.
o Two (2) - Five (5) years prior experience with reporting systems or forecasting processes.
Math and Business Skills
o Advanced math skills and use of statistical tools including regression analysis and correlation analysis.
o Business planning skills including demand modeling, NPV, and return on investment calculations.
o Ability to interpret and contribute to financial document development and management including income statements and capital planning.
Reasoning Ability
o Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
o Ability to view problems strategically and think beyond limited data and daily duties.
Language/Interpersonal Skills
o Strong written, verbal and interpersonal
communication
skills sufficient to communicate and influence effectively.
o Excellent command of the English language, including grammar and spelling skills.

Skills
o PC proficiency and intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, sufficient to create and maintain spreadsheets, documents, letters, presentations and reply to email.
o Advanced MS Excel skills are required.
Supervision Received/Exercised Perform duties as directed by Supervisor.
Travel Requirements Some travel as required (up to 10%).

Hours/Shift
o Normal business hours Monday through Friday; flexibility with overtime and weekends as the business need arises.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
