The Assistant Dock Manager will be responsible for assisting the Dock Manager with the day-to-day operations of the marina, ensuring the safety and security of the marina and its patrons, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Dock Manager with the day-to-day operations of the marina Handling customer inquiries and providing exceptional customer service Assisting with the management of the dock staff and their schedules Monitoring and enforcing marina rules and regulations Assisting with boat launches and haul-outs Overseeing the maintenance and repair of docks and equipment Managing inventory of supplies and equipment Participating in budgeting and financial planning processes Reporting any issues or concerns to the Dock Manager Requirements:
Prior experience working in a marina or boating environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed Knowledge of boating safety and regulations Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work well in a team environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software programs If you have a passion for boating and are looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your career in a management role, we encourage you to apply for this position as an Assistant Dock Manager.
