how would YOU put our drinks on every table? Position Description The Manager, Commercialization Project Management leads a team of Commercialization Project Managers.
The Commercialization Project Managers, based on background and/or experience, could support both retail and contract manufacturing projects and sales teams.
They are the central hub responsible for managing and linking all cross-functional team members needed to commercialize new projects, existing customer changes, and/or key initiatives.
By actively managing these projects, the Manager of Commercialization ensures an efficient process for these customers from inception to the launch of new or changed products out of the Refresco North America Product Portfolio.
Essential Functions:
Sales strategy and bid management:
Ensures the strategic sales funnel is being utilized and evaluated with each opportunity.
Provides support to team in effectively managing the strategy inclusive of escalation if an exception should be considered.
Together with Commercial Finance and in close cooperation with Sales and the Senior Manager / Director, Commercialization prepares the start of complex bids preparing the go / no-go decision for these complex bids and gathers all relevant preliminary information for a successful handoff to Commercial Finance.
Strategic partner in creating alternative solutions where applicable, with minimal help from Senior Manager, Director, cross functional team members and/or Vice President.
Assists team with creative alternatives.
Commercialization Project Management:
Actively leads commercialization projects and follows up according to set and/or customized timelines and deliverables.
Establish product launch project to determine requirements, milestones, deadlines and action planning and execution.
This project should be customized based on complexity and accounts For more complex projects, creates a customized commercialization timeline distinguishing between prepare, setup, trial and deploy phases of the commercialization project.
This includes appropriate consultation and informing of cross- functional project members (R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Commercial Finance).
Assists the sales organization in the timeline communication to the customer, inclusive of the customers responsibilities and timelines critical to deadline.
Reports out to Senior Manager, Director, the Vice President of Commercialization and other (commercial) executives on complex projects by using appropriate measurement, analysis, and evaluation methods.
For more straightforward projects (i.
e.
but not limited to line extensions or core product offerings) uses Refresco project management tools to inform project members and Sales and the on the progress of the project.
Advanced understanding of key stakeholder inputs, including manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and finance with the ability to maintain strong strategic partnerships and foster collaboration.
Ability to prioritize the team, with a focus on 80% of time spent on top 2530/strategic customers and the balance of time on remaining customers.
Includes effective communication of priorities and alignment across with the Commercial Organization.
Ability to communicate appropriately and timely the escalation of concerns inclusive of proposed solutions and leads team to do the same.
Conduct project post- audits and create recommendations based on lessons learned; identify both successful and unsuccessful project elements and recommend creative solutions to manager and cross- functions teams.
Project manage key initiatives for assigned accounts and Account Managers as well as company-wide or strategic initiatives.
Working with the other Managers of Commercialization, identify and implement best practices for Commercialization across your team and the remaining Commercialization team Leadership:
Provides leadership and development to all team members and cross- functional support groups.
Set a tone for positive change, challenging the status quo, and enabling fast decision making and empowering the commercialization team toward continuous improvement.
Develop a working relationship with each internal department involved in the commercialization process that fosters collaboration and mutual respect across all departments.
Ensure effective team engagement and communication to support the rewire initiative Lead consistent and constant process evaluation to support continual improvement in the commercialization process, backed by quantitative and qualitative metrics and KPIs as set by Senior Manager, Director, and Vice president.
Builds the required competence and capability by ensuring adequate training, coaching and development of employees in close cooperation with Senior Manager/Director and the Human Resources function Delivers performance management, sets individual objectives and targets for direct reports in the team and strives for continuous performance improvement and personal development Required Skills and Competencies:
Bachelors degree required, preferably in Business Economics or Commercial studies with a sound understanding of business financials and Product Lifecycle Management 6-8 years of experience in similar project management, sales and/or marketing roles with proven ability to manage multi-department projects.

years leading and developing high-performing teams Experience in industrial FMCG, food, high volume commodity products segment, and/or CPG preferably private label combined with value brands production Expertise in project management and familiarization with project planning tools and collaboration software Sound analytical skills matched with business acumen Excellent written and oral communication skills, must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management SAP Experience preferred Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage a fast- paced schedule Travel may be required but typically no more than 10-20% Advanced:
