Air Ambulance Worldwide is looking for full time flight nurses that can operate at the top of their license while providing great clinical care and customer service.
The incumbents are expected to help in creating and maintaining a top tier fixed wing air ambulance service.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
Must be licensed nurse authorized to practice in the state where nurse is based.
Must live within a 1 hour radius of the airport St.
Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport.
Must have five (5) years critical care or Emergency Medicine / ER experience.
Must be able to demonstrate competency and proficiency in performing patient assessments.
Must be capable of attending and participating in recurrent educational programs for the medical staff as required by In-Service Policy and Procedure Must demonstrate proficiency, knowledge and expertise in the care and transportation of critically ill patients.
Must be capable of performing the duties of a Flight Nurse and medical on call.
Must be certified as FIT TO FLY by AAW's Medical Director.
Must be capable of performing the physical activities required to perform an aeromedical transport.
Must attend an Aero Medical Crew Course / Flight Physiology that meets DOT Standards.
Must maintain current certification as listed below:
Advance Cardiac Life Support Provider Basic Trauma Life Support Provider Advanced Pediatric Life Support Provider or equivalent American Heart Association Provider CEN, CCRN or CFRN required Preferred
Qualifications:
One or more years in aeromedicine with preference to fixed wing Demonstrated experience in training staff in clinical and policies Demonstrated ability to perform administration duties Two years or more experience in leadership Expectations:
Nurses will be expected to take any mission that is presented to them.
They are expected to take any patient regardless of medical condition or diagnosis that has been deemed fit to fly by the medical director.
Nurses are expected to maintain all appropriate licenses and certifications Nurses might be required to obtain vaccines required for entry to other nations.
(COVID, Yellow Fever) Nurses will be part of Air Ambulance Worldwide FEMA deployment team.
Unless on a mission, nurse will be expected to attend all staff meetings, trainings and skills day.
Base Bay:
Base pay of $50,000.
Divided and paid out semi-monthly.
Flight Pay:
Duty Week On Week Flight Pay:
$250
$40 per diem Off Week Flight Pay per current PRN rates Schedule:
Standard schedule will be flex 7 on 7 off.
Could be flexed day before duty week for long distance trips or over last day for overnights trip.
Only if no other medical staff is available.
Duty rest following missions Administrative duties:
Inventory Control Training Other duties as assigned
Benefits:
Employee paid Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Other full-time benefits Full time medical staff will not be eligible for PTO.
Nurses may trade duty weeks and partial weeks.
As long as flights can be covered.
