Summary:
Supervise and schedule work for in-house and contract crews performing aerial, buried, underground, and tree-trimming work. Process as-builts, timesheets, and dailies with attention to detail. Ensure all specifications and safety requirements are met.

The right candidate will be customer service oriented, willing to work long hours to meet and exceed customer's expectations, well organized, have the ability to juggle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Must be able to communicate effectively both written and orally, and be a self-starter

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Minimum five years field experience in telephone construction, buried, underground and aerial,
Ability to supervise multiple job sites daily,
Knowledge of outside plant,
Read and interpret telephone prints,
Computer Skills - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Email),
Accurate and timely paperwork processing,
Excellent Customer Service Skills and able to respond to request(s) in a timely manner,
Communicate effectively with management, crews, and customers,
Ability to navigate varying terrains,
Flexibility to work long hours,
Must have valid driver's license,
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and,
Knowledge of utility job site safety requirements.

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supervisor shall be responsible for the safety on his or her jobsite; including all employees for the Company and any other employers near the jobsite.
The Supervisor shall ensure that the Company Safety polices are followed on each jobsite under their supervision.
The Supervisor shall ensure that there are no unsafe conditions or unsafe acts at each jobsite under their supervision.
The Supervisor shall ensure that the necessary safety equipment is available and is in proper working order at each jobsite under their supervision.
The Supervisor shall train all employees under their supervision in safe procedures relating to their job.
The Supervisor shall conduct periodic safety inspections and Job Safety Observations (JSO) at each jobsite under their supervision.
The Supervisor shall ensure the safety of each employee under his or her supervision.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has supervisory responsibilities.

ON-CALL AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position may require an on-call status. Position may require weekend work and/or overnight travel.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Needs the ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively; and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all staff. This position requires the ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and re-prioritize daily workload and work with minimum supervision and the ability to meet deadlines, establish deadlines, and to prioritize deadlines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
This position requires the ability to communicate in English (and Spanish, preferred) with coworkers, customers and the general public. This person must have the ability to generate reports and other company documents on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
This position requires the ability to do math equations and summaries for annual statistics. Position requires the ability to calculate figures and amounts. Position requires the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and/or geometry.

COMPUTER SKILLS
This position requires general computer knowledge; and requires knowledge in Microsoft Office.

REASONING ABILITY
Requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to process and/or carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle, hold a valid driver's license. A CDL Class A license is a plus.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
