Minimum of 5 yrs as a commercial roofing mechanic, no less
Minimum of 10 yrs roofing experience with at least 5 yrs as a foreman
Strong torching skills, ability to find leaks, familiar w/roof drain assemblies, curbs & base flashings
Responsibilities are; planning ahead, working closely with production manager, time tracking, ability to motivate workers to maximize production
Must have extensive experience in one or more of the following: Modified/torch/cold, TPO, Coatings, Metal, Tile.
Able to think things through and have an understanding of production hrs.

All employees are required to wear uniforms and drive company vehicles to the jobsite.
Vehicles shall be kept clean inside and out and not be abused.

General safety
Fall protection
And if familiar with Spray Foam and Coatings you should be familiar with OSHA Spray/Coatings PPE requirements
Follow and Enforce safety rules and regulations
Be willing to acquire an OSHA safety card
Open to and be able to run/teach weekly Safety Meetings in our warehouse
Set up/attach anchor points for fall protection prior to the start of each project
Identify safety deficiencies and assist with correcting
Ground safety includes monitoring and barricading our staging area.
Required:
Must be concerned about working safely, use PPE, and wear safety harnesses when/where needed.
Be able to find leaks on all roof assemblies, but mostly commercial roofs and have a clear understand how metal or concrete decks effect the process
Be able to lift heavy weight, typical of a roofer
Be familiar with and capable of setting up a ladder
Be able to work on a roof even at the hottest time of the year
Be interested in learning about: Roofing applications materials and equipment that you are not already familiar with, sprayed polyurethane foam, asphalt and paint coatings
Be able to work weekends if/when required (we try not to. Saturday is required if we need to finish a job)
Must have the ability to think ahead and forecast your needs. Waiting until the last minute to say you need something, or put in a request for a job at the last minute is unacceptable
We have a fair amount of equipment (more than average) to make the jobs go faster, smoother, and safer. Leaving it in the shop if it is needed is unacceptable
Follow instructions, have respect for the property of others, Jobsite's must be clean and organized and
Tools/materials must be accounted for, protected, and covered at night.
Make a list of items needed for the following day and let the production manager know what these items are
Fill out detailed time sheets and computer experience is a plus
