Mailing Data Processor - Direct Mail Printing Industry
Must have experience working in the mailing / printing industry and know how to use mailing software to process mailing list / data. Only experienced candidates considered at this time.
Candidate would be responsible for the preparation and processing of mailing lists according to USPS standards for pre-sorted bulk mail and other classes of mail. This is front end list & data position (not the production or running of the mailing equipment itself). Duties include analyzing, manipulating, sorting and verifying data, merging files and outputting postal mailing reports. Other tasks include data entry and list management for in-house needs. The position is a desk job in a modern office environment.
Must have skills in the following areas:
Computers.
Software such as: MS Excel, MS Word.
Must be a very proficient typist. The position requires high volume typing.
Typical mailing software that is used for processing mailing lists.
USPS postal regulations.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
The ability to multi-task.
Full time employment - 40 hours per week.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
