The Customer Service / Data Entry Representative processes orders via fax or e-mail, requests for quotations, lead times, purchase orders and order changes.
This position coordinates with other departments regarding customers purchase orders, special order items, returns, warranties, customer development and technical assistance.
Computer skills such as typing a minimum of 50 WPM is required.
Essential Functions:
Key activities the Customer Service / Data Entry Representative will be responsible for all listed below.
They will also perform other duties as required and assigned.
Enters orders in system based on customer requirements Confirms each part number Confirms each price Confirms required dates and Hercules ability to meet these dates Confirms address, shipping instructions and purchase order number Maintains open order records, confirms open orders with customers Performs typing skills that meet the 50 WPM requirement ENTRY LEVEL
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Effective listening and communication skills Typing or Word Processing skills 50 words per minute Basic Math Skills Basic windows/Microsoft skills
