Directs, coordinates, and governs all functions related to safety testing, repair, and maintenance of biomedical patient care equipment.
Provides training and technical leadership to biomedical technicians regarding equipment operations, standards, and maintenance.
Assesses the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment asset management program.
Train other personnel and clinicians to use equipment properly.
Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
Support, participate, develop and follow corporate and departmental standards.
Responsible for growth and expansion of Biomedical Services business.
Develop fiscal plans / budgets and implement.
Attend respiratory, biomedical, anesthesia and other related meetings and seminars.
