This position may also require, at any given notice, the employee to report immediately to the office for meetings, emergency situations, coverage, etc.
Initiates, pre-qualifies and administers standard intake and screening instruments for the purpose of gathering information about an applicant for services.
Acts as liaison between referring agency professionals and potential clients by performing the following duties ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Conducts telephone screening for incoming calls to determine the individual's needs and screens for potential eligibility for Neighborly funded services in an efficient, timely and consumer friendly manner.
Also, works in partnership with other agencies like UniteUs and the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc.
to enter referral information into the platform on behalf of callers lookingfor services Neighborly does not offer.
Disseminates program and service information relating to criteria, options and access.
Forwards appropriate referral paperwork for either Outreach or Program follow up.
Cancels meals or place meals on hold using ServTracker.
Schedule Initial and Re-Assessments with clients for the NutritionAssessors on their calendars.

Taking credit card payments over the phone.
Provides alternate suggestions for underage clients who don't qualify for the Meals on Wheels(MOW) program by referring from the current OAA list of services.
Cover additional incomingcalls as needed.
Daily data entry for Transportation registration forms for initial applications.
Ensure accuracy of work and the meeting of time deadlines.
Receives and distributes incoming mail.
Postmarks outgoing mail on the postage machineensuring charges are captured for each department and delivers to mailbox each day.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience.
