Machine Operator - 1st shift

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Skills: Forklift experience a plus.
Required Screenings: Pre-employment drug testing/screening. Background checks. Reference checks.
Job Description: Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Assemble sub-assemblies or finished parts using fixtures, jigs, pneumatic or hand presses.Will read and understand tolerances of finished parts, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Positions workpiece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade.
Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule or template. Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine.
Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
Inspect workpiece dimensions to determine machine operation.
Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpiece.
Performs machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies or workpieces. Operate machines, stack, mark, pack, and transport finished workpieces. Operate compression, injection and transfer machines.
Cleans and organizes work station at the end of shift.
Work Environment: Manufacturing.
Hours: 1st Shift. 40 hrs/wk.
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour. DOE.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
